A Fantasmic Day // Adventures of Disney World Part 4

|| Part 1 || Part 2 || Part 3 ||

We spent December 5th at Hollywood Studios. It was an amazing day. We devoted most of our time to watching shows, the Lights, Motors, Action Stunt Show, the Indiana Jones Stunt Show, the 3-D Muppet Show, and ending with their night show, Fantasmic (which happens to be my Dad's favorite Disney night show). In between the shows we saw, we spent awhile in the Honey I Shrunk the Kids playground, went on the Back-lot Tour, met Donald Duck and Daisy, and ate dinner at Pizza Planet (from Toy Story). Enjoy some of the highlights of our second day:

In the below photo, you're looking at a giagantic fan shaped fountain that Disney used as a screen to project clips of classic Disney movies throughout the night show, Fantasmic.
And in the next picture, the white waves is video being projected on the fan shaped fountain, and the blue on the sides, is real water that got shot out to the arena as if a wave was really crashing right in front of us.

Where Dreams Come True // Adventures of Disney World Part 3

|| Part 1 || Part 2 ||

Disney World is huge. In fact, the entire property that is known as Disney World is larger than the city I live in. No joke. Disney World also is amazing. They want your experience to be perfect, magical, unforgettable, and enchanting. Simple amusement park rides are transformed into something, much, much more spectacular as each ride has either a story or theme and Disney get's it perfect down to every last detail.

We're down to just three days left at Disney! I would have put up a few posts earlier, but the internet where we're staying is slow and it's taking forever to add pictures to posts. :(

For now, enjoy some pictures from our first day at Disney, at Magic Kingdom, last Tuesday.

1000 Miles Later // Adventures of Disney World Part 2

|| Part 1 ||

After 2 hours driving to the train station, and then waiting 4 hours until the train finally left, and then being on the train for 17 hours and then driving 1 more hour, we arrived, 1000 miles from where we started, in Kissimmee, Florida. We are renting a house in Kissimmee and are literally only 7-8 minutes away from Walt Disney World. :)

Since getting off the train yesterday morning, we ate at Denny's, came to our lovely house, unpacked the van, went swiming in our pool, unpacked our suitcases, went grocery shopping, enjoyed the sunset over the lake in our backyard, went on a walk in the 70 degree weather and enjoyed the neighbors Christmas lights, ate dinner, slept peacefully on the wonderful beds, woke up and are now about to walk out the door to go to Magic Kingdom :)

One thing about being in Florida right before Christmas is, it's so incredibly weird to be walking around in shorts and t-shirts in hot weather and seeing Christmas lights, and Christmas trees, and "Seasons Greetings". I must admit, I like living where it gets cold for Christmas.
