Road Block

The most time consuming part of blogging {for me} is choosing and editing the pictures. Usually

I just type out a few sentences and let the pictures do the majority of the talking. Usually.

But tonight? Tonight I'm struggling to put my thoughts to words. I've started this post four different times now, going off in four different directions, but I didn't like any of them. I sat down planning on writing a wisdom filled post but I guess that will happen another time.

For now I need to go to bed and get a good night's sleep. Tomorrow is an exciting morning, I have my second family session! This time outside. I'll get better pictures but it's going to be about 27-30degrees and a little windy so I might freeze.

So goodnight my dear blogger friends. Your sweet comments warm my heart and it's fun to know that somewhere, some of you are reading this. :)

I've been playing around trying to create a watermark that I love and I think this may just be the one! What do you think?

  1. Haha, usually the most time-consuming part of a post for me is the writing. I always have so much to say, I worry that I'm going to bore everyone!! ;)

As for the family session - good luck! I hope you don't get too cold. :)

Happy New Year - and thanks for commenting on my blog! <3

  3. Taylor Lynn - thanks!

Nela - I cropped a regular picture to that shape on picnik.com and then I painted it a light gray and then add the text and the swirly sticker behind it. Then on lightroom I made a new watermark by clicking graphic instead of text and I uploaded the logo I had made on picnik. Then I just faded the opacity till I liked it and moved it to that lower position.
I've seen watermarks like this before and loved them so I was so excited when mine worked.
